Built in 1884, The Oaks is a heritage Victorian estate dedicated to bringing history alive through active artistic expression. Far from a static museum, the property serves as a vibrant, welcoming home for musicians, filmmakers, students, and the local community.
Currently held as a private residence, the estate is transitioning into a charitable non-profit trust. Led by a committee of arts, legal, and accounting professionals, this new framework will ensure long-term heritage preservation and public access for generations to come.

Small, accessible creative spaces are increasingly rare across Greater Sydney. The Oaks bridges this gap by providing an intimate alternative to rigid, formal concert venues. Here, artists can experiment and hone their craft, while audiences enjoy high-calibre live performances in a warm, relaxed setting.
